Chapters Never Written
Mar 31, 2022
Shall this always be to bear,
To carry,
Like oceans upon earth’s body,
Like gravity upon the flesh,
Shall their torn sail always be,
Lost vibrance as distance pursues,
Horizons once blazing of neon
Now dim.
Will their always be the longing,
The seesaw of remembrance
As untold eulogies be mute,
Scripted upon heart, never expressed.
Will this always be,
Like a book unfinished,
A story unwritten
Words unsaid, a strange tinge, that whispers
With no end.
