What Will Be Our History?

As new tech is welcomed into the embedding of our lives, I wonder what shall be the outcome?

Living separate lives by job and another by internet, a swift adoption of the metaverse; social media, forums, and video-games.

What do these things have us be that we already are not, that we do not already have? But the ability of instant reaction to things we’d otherwise ignore or take time to investigate.

Don’t get me wrong, one cannot dress as a knight and fight monsters among a fantasy land. Nor dictate a thought alone by self and the world to hear it. But, what we think we are missing in want of excitement is already before us. And no, I do not speak to be against such tech, but to be cautious of its integration.

What will be our history among each other as we divide ourselves into two entities, reality and sub-verse?

As the days shrink my twenty-four/seven news cycles, are our minds, our souls ever at rest?

Are we taking subjective stance and realizing what is being done to us by us? Or are we like the chimp in fight of territory, ripping limbs for sake of reward, of being “right?”

Now, there is truth and only truth. As there are lies and only lies. Each is distinguishable, but only by analyses and critical thinking, followed by the grip of morality.

To act as if we are not persuaded by either aisle of thought, is foolish. To think, neither tribe lies to their own, is foolish.

To act as we are now, like two factions of separate ideals, swinging words like sword, is foolish.

What be our history as we are flung into the universe of tech over the universe of God, of the creation before our eyes?

What will be our history as the world divides its morals like choice on a restaurant meal?

Will we be in our final moments and burn out like the star, leaving a fleeting source of light? Only to be ignored as future generations repeat our cycle?

Like the family of alcoholics, who will break the cycle?

Or will the enablers of the world, the tech giants, the governments, the sheep, the drones of vapid morality be our doom?

Will our own lack of self awareness lead us to the cliffs, to fall to pits of flame, as our necks bend like lowly pups distracted by the treat? Forgetting what just happened or what is happening?

I fear our history as of now is doomed, as we tumble toward the repetition of tyranny.

Who is to blame but ourselves as we elect and drive out morality of the holy?

At what stage does man cease his wrongs and repent what evils he has committed?

Even in belief of no God, you are struck with, “What moralities are to keep and what to toss? And whom shall be the decider of which moralities are of truth and which are false?”

Man is fickle ran by emotion by loose morality, ran by cravings if lack of fear in repercussion of ones action are driving by self.

Our tech is writing us, we are allowing it to consume us to be us to act for us to think for us.

What will be our history but the one written for us if we are blinded by our own desire to touch all things, to feast on all things, to experience all things?

Is madness not brought by monotony and the petrified mind held by plethora of choice; no clear definition of path?

I cannot decide your history as much as you can, but, we can push toward a more fruitful one. We can guide the sails of youth toward a unity. But, I believe for unity to be, a rule of morality must be adopted.

A universal acceptance of morality that, which is not designed by man, but by the higher power. The creator, the God, the all that which we cannot see, like molecule that holds all together.

Or like the consciousness that cannot be placed in a jar nor examined by microscope or tested by a maze, but all bare its existence.

These are but my thoughts of today, my view of our coming history. Too many are reliant upon the hours of tech. The figure heads of their screens, the big brother of their system.

Too many of us, have abandoned the ideal of discussion with disagreement. But worst of all, we have thrown morality to the trash as if man knows best. As we look upon the lands and see only consumption to point of heart attacks and death.

How can man be the answer, when even man destroys their own bodies in want of comfort or convenience?

We are showing many symptoms of regression and the cause I believe, is the replacing of God for the tech and system at hand. Many want to think they know best whilst knowing nothing of death.
